Maria and her husband happened to own their own taco restaurant in Jalisco, Mexico. Their speciality was a unique recipe of tacos Al Pastor. Maria’s husband’s brother came up with the recipe he got from an older person who had a very reputable taco business in Mexico City. The two owners’ dream was to open their own Mexican restaurant in Las Vegas and that’s how Taqueria El Tizon was born in 2005!

Authentic Al Pastor Tacos

Our speciality is the Al Pastor Tacos. It is a marinated pork meat with various spices and condiments that gives the unique flavor to the tacos. It gets marinated for 24 hours. Also, we are the only tacos restaurant where the carne asada is butchered on site, with fresh meat delivered daily.
